Golf is back!

Today sees the return of women's professional golf in England*. I am so happy for them, it must feel like Christmas Day all over again. I guarantee they spent last night cleaning their clubs, marking their balls and laying out their most favourite golf outfit. I know I did for my first game back after lockdown eased and that was just a fun bounce game.

These past few months have been extremely tough on many and lots of industries are struggling. We, as golfers, are lucky that Phase 1 has allowed us to get back to what we love; walking the fairways, playing with family or friends and browsing the rough for our errant golf balls. As we move into Phase 2 it’s a great feeling to know that it won’t be long before I can resume my new role coaching at North Berwick and get back to helping people enjoy their golf more. With that being said, I wanted to share with you all my new Website. I gave myself many challenges during lockdown. I’m not sure what I enjoyed less, the push up challenge or building this site but I think I did OK. Feel free to have a browse around. There is a subscribe button if you’d like to be kept in the loop of any coaching offers, blogs etc.

I will keep you informed as to when my coaching diary opens but until then if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch. Happy golfing.

Best wishes,

Katy

*Kudos to Justin and Kate Rose and American Golf for backing the initiative of Liz Young and giving the girls something to compete in until they can get back to the tour. Check out @RoseLadiesSeries and @SkySportsNews on Twitter for live updates from @Iona_Stephen throughout the day. I know I will be following along and rooting for my good friend @RachelDrummond. Good luck!
